Van Nuys, California is a neighborhood in the central San Fernando Valley region of Los Angeles, California, surrounded by North Hollywood to the east, Panorama City to the north, Valley Glen to the west, and Sherman Oaks to the south. It is home to the Van Nuys Airport, one of the busiest general aviation airports in the world, and the Valley Presbyterian Hospital, a 350-bed hospital that serves the community. The neighborhood is also close to the Sepulveda Basin, a large recreation area that includes the Sepulveda Dam, Lake Balboa, and the Woodley Park. Geography
