Shorter College

Shorter College is a private, historically African Methodist Episcopal Church-affiliated college located in North Little Rock, Arkansas. The college was founded in 1873 by the African Methodist Episcopal Church and is one of the Historically black colleges and universities in the United States. Shorter College was founded in 1873 by the African Methodist Episcopal Church with the goal of providing education to African Americans in the Southern United States.
