The venue also includes dedicated areas for field events such as the shot put, discus throw, and pole vault. It regularly hosts the Essex County Championships in track and field, attracting top athletes from across New Jersey. In 2014, it was selected as a venue for the Special Olympics New Jersey Summer Games.
