Carson married former Brigham Young University football player Carson McAllister in a ceremony held at the Provo City Center Temple in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in January 2016. The couple welcomed their first son, Kevin Leo McAllister, in January 2021, and a second son, Jet McAllister, in July 2023. She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and has spoken publicly about her faith. The family divides their time between Los Angeles and Utah.
