Vladislav Khovalyg is a Russian politician who has served as the Head of the Republic of Tuva since April 2021. A member of the ruling United Russia party, he succeeded Sholban Kara-ool in the role. Vladislav Khovalyg was born in 1972 in Kyzyl, the capital of the then Tuva Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic within the Russian SFSR. He pursued higher education in the field of telecommunications, graduating from the Siberian State University of Telecommunications and Informatics in Novosibirsk. He served as the First Deputy Prime Minister of the republic under the administration of Sholban Kara-ool, overseeing significant economic and social portfolios. In 2020, he was appointed as the Acting Head of the Republic, following the resignation of his predecessor, and was subsequently confirmed in the position by the State Duma and President Vladimir Putin.

Vladislav Khovalyg officially assumed the office of Head of the Republic of Tuva on 7 April 2021. His appointment was part of a broader reshuffle of regional governors initiated by the Kremlin.
