Organization

Leadership

The current Political Commissar is Major General Zhang Taofang, while the current Commander is Major General Wang Wei. The district also has a Deputy Political Commissar and several Deputy Commanders, who assist in the leadership and management of the district.

Operations

The Tibet Military District has been involved in several significant military operations over the years, including border clashes with Indian forces and counter-terrorism operations against Tibetan separatist groups.
