The SGA maintains a critical, collaborative relationship with the Institute's administration and the University System of Georgia. The Student Body President regularly meets with the Institute President, Provost, and Vice President for Student Life to discuss policy. SGA leaders serve as voting members on the Faculty Senate and key committees such as the Institute Budget Committee and Campus Planning Committee.
