Soochow University

Soochow University. Founded in 1900 by missionaries of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South, it is one of the oldest modern institutions of higher learning in China. The institution was established in Suzhou during the final years of the Qing dynasty by pioneers including David L. Anderson and Young J. Allen of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South.
