Roger B. Wilson

Roger B. Wilson is an American lawyer and politician who served as the 54th Governor of Missouri from 2000 to 2005. A member of the Republican Party, he assumed the governorship following the death of Governor Mel Carnahan and is noted for his steady leadership during a period of transition. Early life and education

Wilson was born and raised in Columbia, Missouri, where he developed an early interest in public service. He attended the University of Missouri for his undergraduate studies, graduating with a degree in political science.
