The area is a major transportation node, served by the Qianmen station on Beijing Subway Line 2, providing direct access to Tiananmen Square and the Beijing railway station. Its historical role as a transit point continues with its proximity to key tourist sites, making it a central hub for visitors exploring the Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, and Wangfujing shopping district.
