Matt Mahan

Matt Mahan is an American politician and technology entrepreneur serving as the Mayor of San Jose, California, the most populous city in Northern California and the heart of Silicon Valley. A member of the Democratic Party, he succeeded Sam Liccardo after winning the 2022 San Jose mayoral election. Prior to his political career, Mahan co-founded the civic technology company Causes and served as the CEO of Brigade.
