Mackenzie Rosman is an American actress best known for her long-running role as Ruthie Camden on the family drama series 7th Heaven. She appeared on the WB and later The CW network show for its entire eleven-season run from 1996 to 2007, becoming one of the most recognizable child actors of her generation. Early life and education

Mackenzie Paul Rosman was born on December 28, 1989, in Charleston, South Carolina. She was adopted at the age of three weeks by her parents, who also adopted her younger sister, Megan, who would later appear alongside her on 7th Heaven. Her early interest in performing led her to begin acting in commercials as a young child. Rosman balanced her acting career with her education, attending school on the Warner Bros. lot while filming her series and later graduating from a private high school in California.
