Early life and education

Born in Chicago, Illinois, she is the daughter of a music teacher and a retired educator. Morrison began her career as a child model, working with agencies like Ford Models and appearing in advertisements for brands such as McDonald's and Kmart. She attended Prospect High School in Mount Prospect, Illinois, where she was active in theater and was crowned homecoming queen. Expanding her creative pursuits, Morrison made her directorial debut with the 2014 short film Warning Labels.
