Chingford Foundation School is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form located in Chingford, within the London Borough of Waltham Forest. Founded in 1938, it converted to academy status in 2011. The school serves approximately 1,500 pupils aged 11 to 18 and operates under the governance of the Chingford Academies Trust.

The school opened in 1938 as **Chingford County High School**, operating on a split-site basis with separate buildings for boys and girls. It underwent significant reorganization in the 1970s, becoming a comprehensive institution known as **Chingford School**. A major chapter in its development began in the late 1990s under the leadership of Bernice McCabe, who implemented a transformative ethos focused on high expectations and academic rigour; this period saw the school gain specialist status as a Language College and later a Training School. In 2011, it converted to an academy, adopting its current name and joining the Chingford Academies Trust.
